This image is part of an ongoing series. As a mother I am constantly handed things by my daughter Hazel. I decided to try and freeze this time, by literally freezing these things (usually flowers, leaves or rocks) This flower was handed to me by Hazel standing on a brick fence waiting to see her Spanish teacher, Sylvia. Frozen in a deep freezer in my shed and photographed on my dining table at home with folded washing pushed to the side
