Dermalogica Smart Response Serum says thank you to Australia’s First Responders
Dermalogica Australia wanted to recognise and say thank you to the more than 300,000 First Responders in Australia working on the front lines responding to the unprecedented events of 2020-2021 to keep us all safe.
The launch of their Smart Response Serum provided the inspiration to feature real-life First Responder ambassadors Mal, Keira, Jasmin and Tammie in a photographic & motion shoot.

We get a glimpse into how First Responders respond to challenges under ever changing circumstances, allowing us a small insight - and hopefully a large appreciation - into the invaluable contribution they make to our lives.
Agender came on board to help finesse and subsequently execute Dermalogica’s inspired concept.
As a point of pride, Agender hired an all-female crew. Every role, from lighting to music composition, DOP and editor, were all carried out by women.
Multiple assets across real world and digital platforms
Motion assets were created as one long-form ad, as well as four breakout videos for each individual First Responder. Stills and motion assets were displayed at David Jones stores, Dermalogica stores and salon partners across Australia, as well as throughout Dermalogica’s digital presence.
An original track was composed for this campaign by Luna Pan, an award-winning screen, advertising and game music composer from Sydney.
